Bridal Expo is Alberta’s biggest fall bridal show hosing over 150 of Calgary’s leading wedding specialists. The Bridal Expo Gown Sale offers hundreds of designer gowns for 40% – 70% off and most of the exhibitors attending the bridal show generally have great incentives, show specials and contest.

This spring Boudoir Calgary was invited to be an exhibitor at the Bridal Expo 2016 and we were absolutely ecstatic and were eager to start planning our first ever trade show booth. As an artist you generally have a million different ideas running through your mind at any given time and this was no exception.

Boudoir Calgary is truly different from most boudoir photographers in Calgary for two reasons! First, we truly have the largest Boudoir Photography studio in Calgary with close to 3,000 sq ft of endless possibilities. We also structure our pricing differently than most boudoir photographers in Calgary, Alberta and even US by including all edited digital high resolution digital files with each session you book. Why you ask? Because we feel that when you commission an artist to do an artistic job for you that is more or less commercial in nature and at the end of your sitting session you have nothing in your hands other than gorgeous hair and makeup and a fun experience with your photographer that captured stunning images. The only catch is you now have to dish out even more hard earned money to get images and that could be anywhere from $75 and upwards of $150 PER digital file. Then you would love to display your gorgeous images in an album perhaps…but wait….you spent about $400-$500 for your sitting fee plus about $1500 to get 10 photos and now the albums start at $800….by the time it is all said and done you have invested close to or over $3,000. Don’t get me wrong, I would love to collect $3k per client but I would rather offer affordable boudoir photography to all women as I think this is something every woman should do and a price tag should not stand in her way. Our most expensive package is $1199 this includes your hair styling, professional makeup application, sitting fee, all edited digital files (about 50-60 images) AND a custom album…we just saved you over $1,500 and yous still have the same product but without going into debt in this tough economy.

We wanted to be at the Bridal Expo to let all brides, bridesmaids, moms and even grooms about Boudoir Calgary and how different we are, not only that we also wanted bridemaids to know that boudoir is not just for brides and you also don’t need to go to the bar and feel hung over the next day and instead have a BLAST with your bridesmaids during a boudoir bachrlorette party.

During the bridal expo we met lots and lots and lots of brides, grooms, MOHs, MOBs, bridesmaids. We ran an awesome contest for FREE boudoir shoot and we had an overwhelming response and we are still going through all the entries!!!
